The Inspiration Behind Butterfly Sheets
It all started one night after surgery. I got up for a quick bathroom break, only to return and find my husband rolled into his signature “cocoon ball” 🐛, wrapped in every bit of the covers. Freezing, frustrated, and half falling off the bed, I snapped: “You steal the covers every night!”

Lying there angry, I thought: there has to be a better way to sleep together.
The next morning, I sketched an idea I was sure already existed. It didn’t.

Split sheets? Sewn bottoms? Yes. But a flat sheet connected to a fitted sheet down the centerline? No one had ever done it—until now.

That idea became Butterfly Sheets 🦋 — a new, patent-pending design that reimagines how we share the bed.
